Developed by enlight photo, ioShutter releases were announced at PhotoPlus NYC in November 2011 and provide many advanced functions, including Scheduling, the ClapToSnap sound trigger and ShakeToTake movement trigger. Time-lapse photography is now more accessible, via an easy-to-use app that allows you to set the Timer to schedule a Bulb long exposure or Sound to start your sequence. You can also mix and match the functions to fit your needs.
ioShutter Release Cables for Canon, Samsung, Pentax and Hasselblad cameras are now available for US$69.99 ( £59.99/ €59.99). The free ioShutter app available on the Apple App Store is upgradeable to ioShutter Pro for just US$9.99, adding full customisation and extended camera control. Compatibility even includes advanced Canon G series compacts.
