September 19, 2008: Maxwell International Australia has released the Gorillapod Go-Go!, a novel device that enables handheld devices to be attached to almost any surface.
Ideal for compact digicams, mobile phones, MP3/MP4 players, PDAs and GPS units, it has three legs with more than thirty ball-and-socket segments. Each leg can be bent and/or rotated through 360 degrees. You wrap the Gorillapod Go Go! around anything handy, such as a railing or tree branch; hang it from a bar, perch it on the roof of a car or hang it from the rear-view mirror inside the car to make a GPS unit easy to see.
The Gorillapod Go Go! Comes in several colours and is supplied with a bundle of accessory clips for attaching devices without tripod mountings. Included are a universal adapter screw for digital cameras, a high-quality suction cup for attaching to any flat surface and two high-bond adhesive clips. The Go-Go! Accessory bundle is also sold separately.
The Gorillapod Go Go! Is priced at $39.95 (RRP) and will be available from all major retailers of camera and adventure gear. For more information, phone Maxwell on 1300 882 517 or visit www.maxwell.com.au.
