AIPP Grand Master and 2013 AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year, Tony Hewitt, will present one-day workshops next month to help photographers finesse their creative and practical imaging processes.

Sponsored by Kayell and Eizo, each workshop will run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and cost AU$199 ($149 for AIPP members). Hewitt will explain key elements in his thought processes, from capture through to the final image.  He will also demonstrate the specific techniques that he uses to bring his ideas to life in the final print. The afternoon part of each workshop will be devoted to colour management and cover calibrating and profiling a professional graphics monitor to emulate a variety of fine art and commercial papers and outputs.

Participants will need to provide a laptop computer with a Thunderbolt, Display Port, DVI or HDMI signal output, pre-loaded with Adobe Photoshop plus a selection of RAW, TIFF or JPEG image files. (Arrangements can be made for those without a suitable laptop who would like to attend the workshop.)
The Brisbane workshop will take place on Thursday, 4 June at Warehouse Studios, 2/98 Wecker Road, Mansfield, QLD 4122.

The Sydney workshop will be held on Tuesday, 16 June at Epson Australia, 3 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park, NSW 2113.
