Canon, Casio, Epson, Kodak, Panasonic, Ricoh, Samsung and Sony have won iF Product Design Awards in the Consumer Electronics/Telecommunications category at the recent International Forum Design Exhibition in Hanover, Germany.

 

January 18, 2007: Canon, Casio, Epson, Kodak, Panasonic, Ricoh, Samsung and Sony have won iF Product Design Awards in the Consumer Electronics/Telecommunications category at the recent International Forum Design Exhibition in Hanover, Germany.
The awards are given to the best of the year’s products in the field of design quality. Roughly 2,000 products from 37 countries are entered each year in the awards, which cover 12 categories. The following products were among the award winners in the Consumer Electronics/Telecommunications category:
– Canon’s XL-H1 camcorder;
– Casio Computer’s EX-Z100 and EX-S770 digicams;
– Eastman Kodak’s EasyShare V570;
– Epson’s P-5000 multimedia storage viewer;
– Panasonic’s DMC-L1, DMC-FX01/FX07 and DMC-TZ1 digicams, HDC-SD1 HD video camera and AG-HVX200 HD memory card camera recorder;
– Ricoh’s Caplio R5 and Caplio 500G Wide digital cameras;
– Samsung’s SDC-MS21, SDC-MS61, Digimax i6 PMP and NV Series digicams;
– Sony’s DSC-T9 Cyber-shot and HDR-HC3 high-definition camcorder.
Epson also won awards in the Computer category for its PictureMate 240 printer and Perfection V10 scanner and its TM-T88IV POS printer.
