October 7, 2009: HP has unveiled a range of touch-enabled HP Photosmart All-in-One printers that make it easy to display, edit and print photos as well as copy, scan and print documents.
The new Photosmart printers feature a sleek new piano black finish and include a new user-friendly TouchSmart printing interface that claims to be familiar and natural to use. Energy consumption is reduced by up to 30 per cent compared to previous models.The expanded Photosmart portfolio also features models with one-touch wireless set-up and wireless connectivity, as well asthe ability to access and print photos directly from Snapfish albums online without a PC.
Four models will be offered in the new range, starting with the Photosmart All-in-One, which lacks wireless connectivity but features a 1.45-inch colour display and TouchSmart interface for $129 (RRP). The HP Photosmart Wireless All-in-One (RRP $179) offers an easy wireless set-up and adds wireless connectivity to the feature suite of the entry-level model.
The HP Photosmart Plus All-in-One (RRP $219) comes with a full-featured TouchSmart control panel and 2.39-inch touchscreen and supports wireless printing of photos, web content and everyday documents with the touch of a finger. The flagship Photosmart Premium All-in-One model (RRP $299) has a 3.45-inch touchscreen that allows users to connect to Snapfish andview, edit and print lab-quality photos as well as archive, share, and create photo projects from the site -without the need for a PC.
