September 21, 2010: HP has announced a new range of web-connected, ePrint-enabled Photosmart printers for home usage.
New technologies introduces with the latest products include HP’s new ePrint, which allows users to harness the power of the cloud to print files from anywhere in the world using the laptop or mobile devices. They also come with AirPrint technology for Apple devices, which automatically finds printers on local networks and can print text, photos and graphics with them wirelessly over Wi-Fi without the need to install drivers or download software. Touch-screen controls are also provided with some models.
The HP ENVY100 e-All-in-One (RRP $399) claims to be the world’s first PVC-free printer. Featuring a touchscreen display with the highest resolution of all HP printers, it provides a convenient way to wirelessly print documents and photos and includes scanning and copying facilities. The HP ENVY100 is due for release in November.

Also slated for release in November is the new HP Photosmart eStation (RRP $699), which comes with a detachable, 7-inch, full-colour touchscreen that doubles as a wireless digital companion and control panel for remote printing. This model offers full web browsing capability with high performance printing, copying, scanning and faxing without a phone line. It includes bundled applications like eReader, Snapfish, Facebook, music, email and news. Photo printing is supported with the eStation’s 5-ink IIC, auto photo paper tray, HP Photo Creations and HP Print Gadget.

Other new models include the HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One ($299) and HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One ($199), which go on sale on 1 October and the HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One ($399), which is available now.
