HP’s new Designjet Z-series 6100 printer.
This large-format printer comes in 106.7 cm (42″) and 152.4 cm (60″) models and features eight HP Vivera pigment inks, which produce vivid, water- and fade-resistant prints. It also features an embedded spectrophotometer which enables users to achieve consistent, accurate colour, making it ideal for a wide gamut of graphic applications. Photographers can use it for making limited edition prints as well as prints on demand.
HP will also showcase its latest Retail Photo Solutions Technology in the form of the ml1000 Minilab printer, which uses inkjet technology and delivers 1500 4×6 and 750 5×7 inch prints per hour, offering 16 sizes in gloss and matte finishes. The ml1000 boasts 200 year print life. The HP Photosmart pm2000e Microlab, which has an output of up to 700 prints per hour (6×4), will also be on display on HP’s stand.
The PMA Imaging Technology Show is on at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre between 30 May and 1 June, 2008. For details, visit www.pmaaustralia.com.au/.
