February 15, 2008: Hp Australia has released a new lightweight inkjet printer that produces laser quality text and can deliver smudge-free, lab-quality photos with an optional six-colour ink set. Claimed as the fastest mobile printer on the market, the HP Officejet H470b delivers speeds of up to 22 pages per minute (ppm) black and 18 pages ppm colour. It also prints borderless 4 x 6-inch photos in as fast as 49 seconds. The optional six-colour photo ink set uses HP’s specially formulated Vivera inks. Compact and lightweight, the HP Officejet H470b Printer weighs only 2.22 kilograms with battery and has been drop-tested from up to 0.5 metres to ensure durability. It features an easy to fold 50-sheet paper tray and optional printer sleeve, to minimise scratches and add an extra layer of protection. The HP Officejet H470b Printer can print from a variety of sources, from notebook PCs and PDAs to cameras and memory cards. An optional Bluetooth printer adaptor or HP 802.11b/g wireless printer adaptor, and easy 3-point Wi-Fi profile switch adds wireless printing capabilities. Also available is an optional 12v Auto Power Adapter, and long-lasting lithium-ion battery, which prints up to 480 pages per charge.
