The Head On Photo Festival will end this weekend with displays closing two days after Vivid Sydney opens at 6:00 pm on 26 May.
The coming weekend is the last chance to see the Head On Portrait, Landscape, Mobile and Student prize-winners and visit the retrospective Portrait Prize exhibition at The Rocks. Most of the displays in public spaces will still be on show including the pop-up installations in Pitt St Mall, Circular Quay and the Queen Victoria Building Forecourt and the display at the Paddington Reservoir. Exhibitions at Elizabeth Bay, Casula, Surry Hills, Kingswood, Marrickville, Darlinghurst, Hornsby, Hurstville, Chippendale, Chatswood, Coogee, Leichhardt, Manly and Double Bay will remain open until the end of the weekend. Vivid Sydney, Sydney’s annual autumn festival of light, music and ideas, opens at 6:00 pm on Friday 26 May and continues until 17 June. While the main displays will be in the areas around Circular Quay, The Rocks, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo, The Royal Botanic Gardens and North Sydney, there will also be special events at Kings Cross, Chatswood and Taronga Zoo.
