Head On Photo Festival is calling for submissions from photographers who would like to be considered for inclusion in the11th Head On Photo Festival in Sydney, Australia.
The annual festival provides an opportunity for photographers at any stage of their careers to showcase their work to thousands across Sydney and the world. The organisers are looking for powerful and emotive work with a new or unique approach in any genre across still photography, multi-media and video-art. Individuals and groups may submit exhibition proposals of work made at any time.
Stills photographers are required to submit 10 images from one body of work for consideration. Each image must be 1200 pixels on the longest side and saved at Level 8 JPEG compression. Files must not be watermarked. For multi-media and video projects a single frame is required plus a link to the full production.
Submissions must be accompanied by an exhibition statement and a brief biography of the artist. A fee of AU$20 (non-refundable) applies to each project. Submissions will close on 25 August, 2019. Click here for more information.
