October 16, 2006: Three new Fujifilm digicams will go on sale this month featuring new sensor technology and offering features to appeal to many users. Available in silver or blue, the ultra-compact 5.1-megapixel FinePix Z3 (RRP $399) also features a sixth generation Super CCD HR sensor and Real Photo Processor II technology and offers ISO sensitivity of 100-2000. Users can engage the camera’s Picture Stabilisation Technology to set the appropriate light sensitivity and shutter speed to produce sharp images in bright sunshine, low light or with fast moving subjects. Fitted with a 3x optical zoom lens, the FinePix Z3 uses the same iFlash system as the FinePix S6500fd and offers 14 scene mode selections plus VGA movie capture at 30 fps. It also has a long-life battery with up to 300 shots per single charge. Fujifilm’s affordable FinePix F20 (RRP $399) boasts a 6.3-megapixel Super CCD HR sensor plus Real Photo Processor II technology, which reduces noise and provides enhanced colour reproduction. The FinePix Z3 features a 3x optical zoom lens and supports an ISO range of 100-2000 plus the same Picture Stabilisation Technology as the FinePix Z3. Other features include 14 scene pre-sets, VGA movie capture at 30 fps and a long-life battery with up to 300 shots per single charge.
