Fujifilm has also announced the release of the Shoe Mount Flash EF-X500, an external flash that is ideal for lightweight X Series cameras.
Due for release in May 2016, it features a low profile design and weather and dust resistance that make it ideal for the X-T1 and X-Pro2 cameras, which provide the same protection levels. The high-speed synchronisation (FP) supports the 1/8000 second shutter found on the X-Pro2, while the multiple flash-unit TTL auto function allows photographers to control any lighting conditions. More information, including the RRP, will be available closer to the release date in May.
