Fujifilm has issued several major updates, while Olympus, Panasonic and Sigma have updated one product each.

The Fujifilm updates cover three cameras ““ the X-E3, X-H1 and X100F ““ and the company has also updated its X Raw Studio X Acquire and Raw File Converter EX 2.0 software applications. The X-H1 update addresses a problem that could cause images to be overwritten after using the SELECT FOLDER function in the SETUP menu. The update for the X-E3 adds support for FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO, which  enables users to convert RAF.RAW files with X Processor Pro. Fast batch processing will also be available.  It also adds support for backup/restore of camera settings via FUJIFILM X Acquire and improves the usability of the radio flash controller  adding support for compatible third party studio flash units in high speed sync. or TTL mode via their radio controllers. Users will be able to enlarge indicators and information in the viewfinder and/or LCD monitor and customise the location of where the information is shown on the display.  It also improves Bluetooth connectivity via  the FUJIFILM Camera Remote app. The X-E3 update can be downloaded from http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/firmware/x/xe3/index.html.

Firmware Version 2.10 for the X100F camera also adds the ability to enlarge indicators and information in the viewfinder and/or LCD monitor and customise the location of where the information is shown on the display. Fujifilm has also updated a couple of software applications.  Version 1.2.0  of X Raw Studio adds support for the X-E3 camera body. FUJIFILM X Acquire version 1.9 can now be used with Raw File Converter EX 2.0 and also adds an update notification icon to the user interface. Firmware Version 1.1 for the Olympus PEN E-PL9 improves the operation of the camera when removing clips from My Clips. It requires the use of the Olympus Digital Camera Updater application, which can be downloaded from http://cs.olympus-imaging.jp/en/support/imsg/digicamera/download/software/firm/e1/ before updating the camera.

The Panasonic DC-GX9  gains Firmware version 1.1, which adds two new features. A new Forced Flash Off option prevents the built-in flash from firing, while the Cinelike D and Cinelike V profiles have been added to the photo styles choices.  The new firmware can be downloaded from http://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/dsc/download/fts/index.html.

Sigma has updated its Photo Pro application to Version 6.6.0, which includes a new pre-processing function that makes images display more quickly on dp and sd Quattro cameras.
