Sydney-based Foto Riesel has opened a comprehensive processing lab to offer a full suite of services to photographers.

Located at 360 Kent Street Sydney, ‘Create’ is the only lab in Australia that includes a Noritsu 3801 minilab complete with scanning unit, film processing and Canon 8300 large format printer. The combination of the scanner and high definition laser printing system delivers detailed and vibrant prints at twice the resolution of other printers.   Two new processors (C41 and B&W) allow Create staff to develop, scan and print film up to 120 format in-house with rapid turnaround.   The Noritsu 3801 can scan and print up to 12 x 36 inch prints at 640dpi. Larger jobs are handled on the Canon 8300 wide format printer.

Three new DIY workstations at Create allow photographers to edit and upload images to workflow as well as scan their own film using Epson V700 scanners.   Those who can’t come to the store will be able to upload from work or home via Print jobs can be delivered overnight via courier service to Sydney metropolitan areas or sent just about anywhere in the world.

As well as state of the art printing, Create has a full range of Ilford and Kodak film plus Sydney’s biggest range of Lomography and Holga cameras and film.   Create also caters for digital printers with an extensive range of fine art papers and Epson and Canon professional inks. Traditional black and white darkroom paper and chemistry are also in good supply. Create staff include master printers, Peter Lang and Wayne Miranda.

Create is open Monday to Friday 9am-6pm (7pm on Thursdays), 10am-4pm Saturday and closed Sunday. Until Wednesday, 31 October 2012 any orders put through Create kiosks in store or online will receive a 25% discount. For further information visit or call (02) 8234 4660.
