The Genus BeachTek DXA-5D is a two-channel, transformer-balanced XLR adapter for attaching external microphones, headphones and other audio gear to the Canon 5D Mark II. It also expands the audio capabilities of video-capable DSLRs, or any camcorder with a built in microphone jack by ensuring top-quality soundtracks. Built-in level meters show the input signal strength at a glance, while the trim controls provide adjustments for input levels for optimum recording. High quality balancing transformers provide completely noise free recordings for superb audio.
