Sydney’s Foto Riesel has arranged for two of Australia’s most recognised photographers to conduct a master class will on Saturday, 10th November.

The one-day workshop provides a rare opportunity for photographers to learn from and have their work critiqued by Stephen Dupont and Jack Picone. The workshop will be held at Foto Riesel’s premises at 364a & 360 Kent St, Sydney from 10 am to 5 pm.

Bangkok based Jack Picone will open the day with a session on ten iconic photos that moved the world.   Multi-award winning photographer Stephen Dupont will discuss ten of the world’s most iconic photography books. Following the presentations, Dupont and Picone discuss photojournalism and documentary photography as the new frontiers.   Participants will learn about the everyday life of being a working photographer: how to make it a career in both digital and/or analogue photography.

Prior to the workshop, participants are asked to submit a selection of images from which three will be discussed and critique by Dupont and Picone.   The three images will be printed and exhibited around the master class room on the day and utilised as part of the workshop discussion. Places are strictly limited. Tickets available from Foto Riesel for $295 each.
