Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Syrp and Tamron have announced firmware updates overnight for some of their products.
Fujfilm’s update for its X-T10 camera, introduces changes in four main areas:
1. Improvement of Eye Detection AF speed when used with XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR lens.
2. Improvements to the operation of the Fn1 Function button (Default setting: movie shooting) to avoid unexpected appearance of Button Setting when Fn1 function is needed.
3. Removing differences in the image angle between JPEG images (including those converted in the camera) and JPEG images converted from raw files using Raw File Converter EX2.0. This problem is specific to the following lenses: XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS, XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS â…¡, XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS, XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS, XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR, XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR, XF 18mm f/2 R and XF 27mm f/2.8.
4. Support for Windows10 added, addressing a problem that prevented images in a camera from being transferred to a Windows10 PC via a USB cable.

Nikon has released firmware updates for its P900 and S6700 digicams. Firmware version 1.2 for the P900 addresses a problem that which prevented use of the optional ML-L3 remote control to stop movie recording and a bug that could trip the shutter inadvertently with the remote if an object was within range of the EVF’s proximity sensor. Firmware version 1.1 fixes an issue that could cause the camera to lock up with the lens extended and the power switched on. Panasonic has also released two firmware updates, covering the FZ1000 and the TZ57/TZ58 cameras. Firmware V. 2.2 for the FZ1000 fixes a single bug that could cause the aperture value to be displayed incorrectly in some situations. Firmware V. 1.2 for the closely-related TZ57 and TZ58 cameras provides improved stability in iHDR burst shooting and fixes a display problem in the Baby mode. Syrp has announced Firmware upgrade 2.6 for its Genie motion control system. The update introduces 2-axis control the ability to Sync Two Genies together. Tamron has released Firmware version 1.2 for its 14-150mm f/3.5-5.8 Di III [Model C001] lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. This improves autofocus performance when shooting movies with Panasonic cameras. It’s available at https://www.tamron.co.jp/en/support/firmware_c001_ENU/index.html.
