Ricoh Imaging has released Firmware Update Software Version 1.02 for the Pentax K-3 camera, which adds the ability to bracket shots in the Anti-Aliasing Filter Simulator mode and provides several other performance improvements.
The new AA bracketing function records three frames, the first with the AA filter off and subsequent shots with Type 1 and then Type 2 filter modes. This function can be used in all shooting modes except Bulb exposures. Other enhancements include improvements to general stability as well as the stability of the battery level indicator when using the camera with a battery grip.
