Nikon has released firmware version 1.01 for its D780 DSLR camera, providing a look-up table for use when colour grading movie footage shot with N-Log gamma.
The new firmware is available from the Nikon Download Centre which also provides instructions for its use.
The 3D-LUT for the D780 performs in the same manner as those for the Z 7 and Z 6 and the firmware includes the Z 7 and Z 6 firmware as well as the new firmware for the D780.
As of January 2020, Nikon has tested the product and confirmed that it can be used with the following applications: Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Apple Final Cut Pro X and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 16.
