Canon has released updated firmware for the following RF-mount lenses: 100-300mm f/2.8, 400mm f/2.8, 600mm f/4, 800mm f/5.6 and 1200mm f/8.

Firmware Version 1.0.6 for the RF 100-300mm f/2.8 L IS USM lens incorporates the following enhancements.
- Improves focus, making it more easily achievable, even when performing fast zooming operations.
- Improves the Panning Assist control feature for 2nd and subsequent images captured during continuous shooting when using the electronic shutter.
Firmware Version 1.0.6 for the RF 400mm f/2.8 L IS USM lens, Version 1.0.6 for the RF 600mm f/4 L IS USM lens and Version 1.0.4 for the RF 800mm f/5.6 L IS USM lens and RF 1200mm f/8 L IS USM lens improves the Panning Assist control feature for 2nd and subsequent images captured during continuous shooting when using the electronic shutter.
