Sony has issued Firmware Update Ver. 2.00 for its DSC-RX0 Mark II action camera.
The main purpose of the latest issue is to add AF-S support during movie recording. When this function is enabled, AF-S can be activated by pressing the shutter button halfway during the recording. However, since it generates noise, users are advised to use an external microphone while recording video clips.
The new firmware also adds support for the optional wireless remote commander RMT-P1BT (sold separately) and improves the overall stability of the camera. Click here for the download page with links to Windows and Mac OS versions.
