Canon has issued Firmware Version 1.8.1 for its EOS R6 mirrorless camera, providing a trio of enhancements and fixes.
The new firmware adds the ability for images to be cropped and resized during transfer to the FTP server and provides two additional ‘fixes’. The first addresses the phenomenon, where after updating to firmware version 1.8.0, Err70 etc. occurs under certain conditions. The second is a general minor bug fix.
