Tamron has issued firmware updates for its 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD (Model A047) and 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061) lenses for the Sony E-mount.

In both cases, the new firmware significantly improves AF tracking performance, particularly when tracking a moving object. Support has also been added to provide the AF Assist function during video recording.
