New firmware issued for the OM-D E-MX, E-M1 Mark II and E-M5 Mark III cameras provides support for the new M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm f/4.0 PRO lens plus EVF improvements.
The updates provide the same functions for all three cameras, notably support for focus stacking with the new M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm f/4.0 PRO lens and the following changes to the DVF functions:
When EVF Auto Switch is set, users can select how the viewfinder is displayed when the monitor is open.
Off: Disables the eye sensor. On1: sets the eye sensor to operate regardless of whether the rear monitor is open or closed.
On2: The eye sensor does not operate while the rear-panel monitor is open.
