Nikon has issued firmware updates for its Coolpix P1000 digicam as well as the AF-S Nikkor 180–400mm f/4E TC1.4 FL ED VR lens.
Firmware version 1.2 for the Coolpix P1000 provides a single issue fix that addresses a problem that caused the charge lamp to continue flashing after charging via the charging AC adapter had been completed. Click here to access the download page.
Firmware version 1.02 for the AF-S Nikkor 180–400mm f/4E TC1.4 FL ED VR also provides a single bug fix, in this case addressing an issue that in rare cases slowed autofocus tracking or prevented the camera focusing. The download can be accessed here.
