Sony has issued updates to its FE 100-400 mm G Master and FE 70-200 mm f/2.8 GM OSS lenses plus a notice regarding its Planar T* FE 50mm f/1.4 ZA lens.
The firmware updates to the two lenses aim to improve continuous autofocus performance during zoom operation when shooting with a Sony α9 camera body. The updates only apply to the α9 camera. To download the updates for the SEL100400GM lens, visit

Sony has also issued a notice to owners of the Planar T* FE 50mm f/1.4 ZA interchangeable lens, advising that some units may be vulnerable to internal fogging.
