Canon has announced firmware updates for its EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III professional DSLR cameras.

 

March 4, 2009: Canon has announced firmware updates for its EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III professional DSLR cameras.
Firmware update v. 1.2.5 for the EOS-1D Mark III includes fixes for minor problems associated with zooming in Live View mode and disconnecting the USB cable when the camera is linked to a computer. It also improves the error indicators displayed on the camera. It can be downloaded from http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eos1dm3/firmware.html.
Firmware update v. 1.1.4 for the EOS-1Ds Mark III provides a similar suite of fixes for the IDs Mark III and has been created for cameras with firmware versions up to 1.1.2. It can be downloaded from http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/eos1dsm3/firmware-e.html.
