Fujifilm has released Firmware Ver. 1.01 for its new X-H1 camera. The new firmware corrects two anomalies. The first is a phenomenon where the camera would display  ‘TURN OFF THE CAMERA AND TURN ON AGAIN’ when shooting with the electronic first-curtain shutter and flicker reduction enabled. The second involved unintentional defaulting to ISO Auto when the Custom setting was used. The new firmware is available at http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/fw_table.html.

The Nikon D5 gains Firmware Version 1.21, which fixes an issue where the camera sometimes had difficulty focusing on subjects in focus points at the edges of the frame. Firmware Version 1.12 for the Nikon 1 V3 fixes an issue that resulted in  Auto power off  not functioning as expected with DF-N1000 electronic viewfinders. Firmware Version 1.12 for the Nikon 1 V2 addresses an issue that prevented the camera correctly displaying location data acquired with GP-N100 GPS units. The new firmware can be downloaded through http://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/index.html.
