iSnap is a one-day event that will provide participants with an opportunity to take part in a competition seeking the next star photographer.
The event takes place in Sydney on Sunday, 14 October, 2012 and is based around using photography in the professional world of fashion, modelling, celebrity, sports cars and more. To participate, you must register at http://isnapfun.com.au/event/. The first 500 people to register are guaranteed an opportunity to participate in the event and will be able to claim a free iSnap Tshirt, LOWEPRO camera bag and goodie bag.
Participants will have the chance to try out a range of lenses at Tamron Experience booths at various locations. A clue sheet will direct participants to venues around the city centre where they can search for on-the-spot hidden prizes. Facebook and Twitter will be active and Wally makes several appearances, allowing participants to claim a prize if they find him.
The event wraps up with a party, which begins at 6:00 pm. Entrants are requested to upload their best images into each category on the iSnap Facebook GROUP site which is open from 12 am Monday, 15 October, 2012. Entries close at 11pm Friday, 19 October, 2012 with winners announced on Monday, 22 October, 2012.
