May 28, 2008: The Faces of Photography Exhibition, a collection of portraits capturing some of the most recognised and promising photographers within the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, will be on display at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 30 May to 1 June 2008.
Captured by Queensland professional photographer, Emily Boyd, the exhibition includes portraits of 40 photographers. These portraits also feature in a book complete with quotes that capture the essence of the work they do. Emily Boyd commenced the initiative last year at the 2007 Australian Professional Photography Awards in Melbourne. The project was the final folio for her Commercial Photography major which was completed as part of her Bachelor of Photography degree at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University.
All images in the exhibition have been printed courtesy of Fujifilm Australia on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digital Pearl Paper. The exhibition is part of the PMA Imaging Technology Show, which is on at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre between 30 May and 1 June, 2008. For details, visit www.pmaaustralia.com.au/.
