Registrations have opened for the biennial Birdlife Photography Conference, which takes place in Fremantle, Western Australia, on 21-22 September 2019.
This year’s event will feature two days of workshops and sessions on the art and craft of bird photography plus pre- and post-conference birding excursions. The sessions will cater for those beginning in bird photography as well as advanced photographers. Speakers at the conference include award-winning photographers, Glenn Bartley (Canada) and Georgina Steytler (Australia) as well as Jan Wegener, Vas Smilevski, Ian Wilson, Glenn Pure, Alex Cearns, Keith Lightbody, Shelley Pearson, Daniel Mantle, Simon Cherriman, Gary Meredith and Heather Thorning.
