‘Polar Convergence’, an exhibition of high-latitude sound and image works, opens at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Fitzroy on Friday 23 August at 6pm.

Featuring works by Rohan Hutchinson and Philip Samartzis in which the Arctic and Antarctic intersect, the display includes photographs by Rohan Hutchinson, taken in the Arctic winter plus three Antarctic soundscapes by Philip Samartzis.

Artist talks will be held on Saturday, 24 August between 12:30 and 2:00 pm.

The gallery is located at 404 George Street, Fitzroy and the exhibition will run until 20 October.
