Finalists’ entries from the 2024 Walkley Awards for Excellence in Photojournalism will be on display at the State Library of NSW until Sunday, 27 April 2025.

The Nikon-Walkley Press Photography Exhibition showcases the finalists in the 2024 Walkley Awards for Excellence in Photojournalism. More than 3,000 images were entered, across news and sport, portraiture and visual essays. In selecting the three finalists for each category, the Walkley photography judges looked for newsworthiness, impact, creativity and technical skill. As in previous years, the Nikon-Walkley Press Photography Exhibition showcases the finalists in the 2024 Walkley Awards for Excellence in Photojournalism. Entry to the exhibition is free of charge and the galleries are open between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Click here for more information.
