The National Archives of Australia is presenting an exhibition of photographs that reflect the migrant experience post World War II.

One of the images from ‘A Place to Call Home’ a new exhibition that opens in Parramatta on 9 October.
The A Place to Call Home exhibition will open at the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta on 9 October and run through to 15 November. Migrants came to Australia after World War II from the United Kingdom and southern and western Europe, including from refugee camps. The National Archives holds a collection containing 36,000 black and white and colour images of which more than 10,000 have been digitized. A representative selection of these images have been printed for display at the exhibition in Parramatta.
