As part of the year-long centenary celebrations marking 100 years since the Leica I was launched, Leica Australia will present an exhibition featuring Steve McCurry in August.

The exhibition, titled In Conversation: A Photographic Dialogue Between Yesterday and Today will feature a curated selection of works by renowned photographer and Leica Hall of Fame inductee, Steve McCurry, alongside a stunning collection of images from exciting new talent Jessie Brinkman Evans, who has roots in Australia and Southern California. Jessie has travelled extensively to Greenland in her young career – capturing the uniqueness of life in the Arctic and exploring the interplay of land and culture.

For Australia, the exhibition, which will play a leading role in a year of centenary celebrations, is scheduled from August 2025 at the Leica Galleries in Sydney and Melbourne. Further details of the exhibition will be announced in mid-2025.
