The project is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW as part of Arts Restart initiative o support the arts sector, which was badly affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. Head On Foundation invited NSW photographers of all genres to submit images that show how they and their communities were affected by the ‘Black Summer’, the subsequent flooding, the pandemic, and the general unrest and turbulence in world politics as communities demanded overdue social change. The exhibition is accompanied by a 96pp hard-cover book which includes all exhibited photographs, plus an extra 20 images from the project. The book is available for purchase from Head On Website. From the Southern Highlands in May the exhibition will move to the Central Coast in June and Sydney for Head On Photo Festival 2021 in November. Click here for more information.
