The 2024 CP+ Camera and Photo Imaging show will take place on February 22-25 in Yokohama, Japan and again will be a combination of on-site and online events.

Once again the Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) has decided next year’s CP+ show, which claims to be the biggest camera and photo imaging show in the world will be a combination of on-site and online events. This follows a three-year period in which the on-site show was cancelled due to the global COVID pandemic. The show resumed in February 2023 but was much smaller in size and vey Japanese-focused. Whereas the attendance figures for the four days of the 2019 physical show reached 69, 615, only 7,785 visitors were logged for the 2023 show, roughly one tenth of the visitor numbers for the pre-pandemic period. In 2022, a total of 123,753 visited during Online Event and lengthy ‘archiving period’, which extended through to 31 March 2023.

With COVID restrictions lifting globally it is hoped that the 2024 CP+ Camera and Photo Imaging show will attract more visitors and be more universal in its approach.
