The exhibition of books from contemporary photographic and art publisher Spector Books at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne will close at 5pm on Sunday 18 February.

Featuring hundreds of publications, including many rare and out-of-print photography books, it demonstrates how the interplay of image and text and the design and materiality of the physical book creates possibilities for printed books in the digital age. It also showcases the work of all parties involved in the book production process: artists, authors, book designers, lithographers, printers and bookbinders and their innovative approaches to the medium.

The Centre for Contemporary Photography is located at 404 George Street, Fitzroy, 3065; phone (02) 9417 1549 or click here for more information.
