In 2024, Muogamarra Nature Reserve, which is located near Cowan just north of Sydney, celebrates its 90th year open to the public. Members of the public can only visit if they have booked a guided or self-guided tour in advance. A great venue for photographers, the reserve is a paradise of rare native wildflowers and provides expansive views of Bar, Milson and Spectacle islands, Berowra Creek and the Hawkesbury River.
