The Ballarat International Foto Biennale (BIFB) is now open to Melbournians and interstate travellers, with exhibitions remaining open until 9 January 2022.

The health and wellbeing of visitors, staff and volunteers is a priority, so COVID-19 vaccination (double dose for those aged 16 and above) and masks (for those aged 12 and above) will be legal requirements for all visitors.
Visitors must:
– show proof of vaccination
– QR check-in to every venue
– wear a face mask
– maintain physical distance
– or provide evidence of a valid medical exemption.
For those unable to attend on the opening day a special BIFB Conversation event will take place online on Saturday 30 October at 4pm AEDT discussing the highlight of this year’s festival : the Linda McCartney Retrospective. Sarah Brown from the Linda McCartney Archive will discuss the exhibition Festival Director Fiona Sweet hosted by arts journalist Fiona Gruber.
