Winning entries from the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year competition are on display at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney until 20 October.

This year, the annual competition received 2,219 entries from photographers around the world. Visitors can witness nature at its most dramatic, graceful and unexpected with this stunning collection of breathtaking photographs celebrating the natural heritage of the bioregions of Australia and New Zealand, the Antarctic and New Guinea. Ticket prices are as follows: adult $15, concession and student card holders $8; children under 16 years of age are admitted free of charge. All tickets include general entry to the Powerhouse Museum, which is located at 500 Harris Street, Ultimo. The museum is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Click here for more information.
