The new venue provides increased gallery space, an ACP resource library and education facilities and an area for the relocation of the ACP office. It has been designed to host the centre’s ever-popular photography courses, exhibitions, and public programs and will create an important hub for artists and photographic enthusiasts across Sydney. There is also space for professionals, artists, and students to learn and create together.
The new premises are now open to visitors at 19-21 Foley Street, Darlinghurst. The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and on Saturday between 11 am and 4 pm. During the current pandemic the ACP will follow government guidelines. The team will adhere strictly to social distancing measures and hygiene practices, as well as implementing contact tracing for all events.
