The 10th edition of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale has enjoyed a bumper year with more than 30,000 visitors across 89 venues covering education programs, exhibitions and events.

‘Retroactive Documents—Time is not a Line’ by Stephen Hennessy was awarded best entry by the judges panel, while Xiaolan Yao’s exhibition Memories of Childhood was voted the People’s Choice Winner. In a new record, this year’s Open Program included 82 venues and over 350 artists. The Wall of Women by Unexposed Collective is the largest-ever exhibition of female and non-binary street photographers from all around the world with over 200 images. The next Ballarat International Foto Biennale will take place in 2025.
