Epson’s New Stylus CX6900F Adds Fax Support

January 8, 2007: The new Epson Stylus CX6900F “More-in-One” multi-function printer has an inbuilt fax with a 33.6K bps modem for immediate transmission, and supports the international colour fax standard for colour-to-colour communication.
Designed for the home and small office environment the Stylus CX6900F supports printing, scanning and copying functions and uses Epson’s DURABrite Ultra resin-coated pigment ink. The four individual colour Intellidge ink cartridges cost only $14.50 each and they can produce smudge and water resistant prints with up to 120 years lightfastness on selected Epson papers. The Stylus CX6900F alerts users if one or more cartridges are running low allowing them to replace only those colours to ensure they get a completed print. Epson’s Resolution Performance Management technology and 3picolitre ultra fine ink droplets enables printing with a resolution of up to 5760 dpi (dots per inch) and the additional PhotoEnhance automatic scene correction function allows users without expertise in software manipulation to get the best out of their photographs.
Five card slots are provided for direct printing from camera memory cards and the 1200 x 2400dpi scanner and simple copying features enable users to scan anything from documents to photos. The bundled Epson Creativity Suite software includes Epson File Manager, Scan Assist, Attach to Email, Copy Utility, Easy Photo Print and Web-To-Page for simplified scanning and printing. An easy-to-use control panel is also provided.
