September 10, 2007: Three new printers have been added to Epson’s line-up featuring improved DURABrite inks and resolution, fast print speeds, a bundled USB cable and built-in PhotoEnhance software.
Two multi-function models, the Stylus CX8300 and Stylus CX7300 are targeted at users who require photo and document printing, along with scanning and copying. The Stylus CX8300 (RRP $199) has a 2.5 inch tilting LCD viewer for PC-free printing, scanning and copying convenience, while the Stylus CX7300 (RRP $149) has no viewer. Both offer print speeds of up to 32ppm and can deliver borderless 4×6 inch photos in as little as 26 seconds. One-touch, fit-to-page copying is supported in both models. The Stylus C90 (RRP $79) is a cost efficient single-purpose printer that is ideal for printing everyday documents such as flyers and school projects or producing glossy photo prints at home.

All three printers feature Epson’s improved DURABrite Ultra inks, which are resistant to smudging, fading and water and claim up to 120 years light-fastness. They also come with Epson’s Resolution Performance Management (RPM) technology, which supports printing at up to 5760 optimised dpi. With Advanced MicroPiezo print head technology the nozzles are able to produce various sized droplets for more precise image reproduction and colour gradation.
