September 26, 2006: The coming range of Epson printers will feature new Claria Photographic inks and built-in PhotoEnhance software that corrects common shooting problems. Epson will release eight new printers in the lead-in to Christmas 2006. Two new models will be added to the PictureMate range: the PictureMate 210 (RRP $249) and the PictureMate 250 (RRP $329), the latter featuring a 2.5-inch LCD screen and optional battery. New “all purpose” models include the Stylus C79 (RRP $99) and Stylus C87+ (RRP $129), both four-cartridge models. Epson’s Stylus Photo R390 (RRP $299) is a new photo printer that uses six inks and can print a 6×4-inch photo in just 13 seconds. It comes with a 3.5-inc LCD and memory card slots.
