October 6 2005: The new Epson Stylus C67 and Stylus C87 inkjet printers are designed for consumers who want to print both documents and photos at an affordable price.
Both models use Epson’s new DURABrite Ultra ink technology, which delivers enhanced gloss on paper, improved media support and a claimed light fastness of up to 120 years on selected Epson paper for photo prints. The DURABrite Ultra ink set is also water, smudge and fade resistant for both documents and photo prints. Both printers feature Epson’s MicroPiezo printer head technology, which produces smaller and more uniform ink droplets at a top resolution of 5670 dpi. Both models can produce true border free prints on A4, 5×7-inch or 4×6-inch paper.
The Stylus C87 prints at up to 22ppm (pages per minute), while the Stylus C67 prints at up to 17 ppm and both models use Epson Intellige cartridge technology which allows users to easily view ink levels, and works with the printer to ensure high print quality and trouble free printing. New application software bundled with each printer includes Epson Creativity Suite and Easy Photo Print, along with Epson PhotoQuicker, Print Image Framer (including Disney PIF) and Epson Web-to-page.
The Stylus C67 is expected to sell for $109 while the Stylus C87 is priced at $149. For full product specifications, go to www.epson.com.au and for details of stockists phone the Epson Customer Hotline on 1300 361 054.
