Replacing the almost seven year old Artisan 1430 model, the XP-15000 is 30% smaller and features a new ink set. The Claria Photo HD inks include new red and grey inks, which deliver a wider colour gamut, more natural skin tones and enhanced black-and-white prints. The XP-15000 has a 50-sheet rear specialty media tray that can handle a variety of paper finishes  along with paper sizes from postcard (15 x 10 cm) through to A3+ (32.9 x 48.3 cm). Borderless printing is supported. It also has a 200-sheet front tray for plain paper and supports auto duplexing for document printing. Documents can be printed at 9.2 pages/minute (ppm) in black or 9.0 ppm in colour (ISO standard), while borderless snapshot-sized prints can be output in as little as  27 seconds.

The Expression Photo HD XP-15000 offers wireless connectivity through Epson Connect, including the Creative Print App, allowing users to print from iPad, iPhone, and Android tablets or smartphone devices. Ethernet networking is also supported. The XP-15000 is available now from www.epson.com.au for an RRP of $499 and through major Epson retailers and resellers across Australia.
