DxO Labs has announced the immediate availability of DxO Optics Pro v8.3.2 for Mac and Windows, which adds support for the 20.2-million pixel Canon EOS 70D, as well as for Sony’s DSC-RX1R.

The latest version also benefits from the addition of new DxO Optics Modules, which contain information about the characteristics of each camera and lens. This database allows DxO Optics Pro 8 to automatically correct distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations, and lens softness with an unrivalled level of quality. Four hundred and forty-five new camera/lens combinations round out the library, which today counts more than 14,000 available DxO Optics Modules.

The Standard and Elite editions of DxO Optics Pro v8.3.2 for Mac and Windows are available in the DxO Labs online store (shop.dxo.com) and at photo resellers, at the following prices: US$169 for the Standard version and US$299 for the Elite Edition. This upgrade is free for all owners of DxO Optics Pro 8, as well as for all photographers who acquired a DxO Optics Pro 7 license on or after September 1, 2012.

A fully-functional trial version of DxO Optics Pro 8, good for one month, is available on the DxO Labs website (http://www.dxo.com/intl/photography/download).
