DxO Labs has released the latest version of its image processing software, DxO Optics Pro v7.5.5 for Mac and Windows, which includes support for the Canon EOS-1D X and the Nikon D600 (Elite edition only) plus the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G5 and DMC-LX7.

Developed in the laboratory and following a scientific calibration process for all combinations of cameras and lenses, DxO Optics Modules contain tens of thousands of data points about the intrinsic limitations of each piece of equipment. This database enables DxO Optics Pro to correct optical defects such as distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations and lens softness automatically. DxO Optics Pro v7.5.5 also benefits from the continuous development of DxO Optics Modules. Nearly 400 camera/lens combinations have been added to the library to provide support for additional Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, and Zeiss lenses for Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, and Sony cameras.

The Standard and Elite editions ofDxO Optics Pro 7for Mac and Windows are available for purchase in DxO Labs’online store (shop.dxo.com) and at photo resellers, at US$169 for the Standard Edition or US$299 for the Elite edition.
